Sick = Bummer

I'm starting to get the impression that since I've been at Stanford, I've been getting sick about once a year, usually at the beginning of Winter quarter. I'm not often sick, but when I am it tends to somewhat knock me out. I've spent the past few days stuck at home; whenever I got up my head would explode, the world would spin and other dramatic things. I also have been having a fair amount of trouble breathing. After sleeping very much for two days, I'm starting to feel a little better - at least my head isn't blowing up any more. I've already missed two days of classes and I really don't need to miss any more... getting late this early in the quarter is never a good thing! ^ TOP

Back at Stanford

Welp, after being gone for about three weeks, I'm back at Stanford, at my good old student apartment. My flight back was fairly pleasant, I suppose - as flights go. I had the exit row, which was nice, except that people kept using it as a conversation/stretch area. People would even lean on my chair, which I found a bit much. On a few occasions, I felt my personal space so invaded that I went into what Steven calls 'roadblock mode' where I made myself as big as possible by sticking out legs and elbows, and finally got some of my space back.
